In reply to the discussion: Poor People's Food [View all]One of the reasons poor people don't buy fresh produce is because it spoils quickly and they can't afford to have food spoil. This issue becomes worse when the produce they're offered is mostly spoiled already. When you have a limited income and buy your groceries once a month, half-dead produce doesn't make the cut.
