(2,529 posts)He had his shots and the vet gave him a booster, but they did a number on him. He chased after a mama and little ones and a whole bunch of them came piling on top of him. He's a little guy, just weighs 14 pounds. I found him as a stray and then, he gets attacked on our property. I thought they'd killed him, but he just got mauled up. I hate those bastards. Sometimes, at night, I'll be on the porch swing enjoying the evening and one will pop up to the cat dish and glare at me, like it's demanding I feed it. No way. We have feral cats in the neighborhood that we feed, but I dispose of the food before it gets dark. We live in the Texas Hill Country and a little Bichon Frise was attacked by a mountain lion at the Dominion down the road from us. Leaving food out for wildlife is a good way to attract even worse predators than raccoons.
