No! I'm FROM and LIVE IN the SOUTH. I KNOW that rednecks aren't from here. It's actually from the mid-west and means, literally, that a person had a red neck from sunburn from farming.
Guess what else! I also know that there are those damn stupid non-Confederate flags (most are the battle flag of the Northern Virginian Army) are everywhere, not just the South.
And, "hippies" are from my family. My Southern parents were.
My point, and maybe I should have used that sarcasm tag smiley, is that most folks on this board would NEVER relate ANYONE from Seattle as being redneck.
So, Ghost, you and I are closer to peace than you think.
