we can't wait and we need to start helping those in our community.

I volunteer at two very small food banks that are faith based. One is also able to give clothing, blankets, and household goods to those in need. It serves between 40 to 60 families every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. The hygiene bags are appreciated and most certainly a need.

The other one is food only and that one averages 40 families each Wednesday.

Sissyk, you so right that in your observation. If one doesn't have the time then money is good as the bank can buy the items that are most needed.
