to complain that when they say something inflammatory or bigoted that their free speech rights are being violated. My parents were going to visit a few months ago and they have been known to say some pretty inflammatory stuff and love to pick political fights with my hubby and I. In an effort to make sure the visit was pleasant and non combative I asked them to not bring up politics or religion. Especially in front of the kids. My dad agreed but my mom flipped out and accused me of violating her free speech rights and cancelled the trip. Then she threatened to call CPS and claim I was keeping my kids from seeing her. She's a such a sweet old freeper.

Anyway, Kirk Cameron is a fool. That he would insult and deride people and then claim he was being bullied for his hateful bigoted comments is insane.
