25. I absolutely second your plug for single-payer.

I recognize how fortunate I have been to have a good but expensive supplemental insurance plan in addition to Medicare. How could anyone wish less for any of our fellow-humans? Your sentiment is exactly the sort of thing I was referring to in my opening comment on the generous nature and compassion that are such distinguishing characteristics of the members of this tribe of ours. The tribe without narrow tribalism, so to speak.
