I would call it ethnocentric and bigoted rather than racist (Latin Americans are not a race) much like the comments on India and Muslims that are often repeated around here. It is no different. I saw you yourself decided someone's comment about a salesperson must be because he was a Muslim. I found that offensive myself, yet I didn't start a thread about you.

I saw no comment about Latin America. I saw a comment calling Duers malcontents in response to a post noting how many more people turned out for a protest on internet privacy as opposed to SNAP, which the prior poster attributed to a fixation on porn. You remember something from a year or more ago and accuse me of defending a statement I did not see because I have said I do not like ugly witch hunts. I make no statements about ethnic groups or nations based on preconceptions. Your allegation is underhanded.

Everyone knows this has nothing to do with Latin America. If it did, the witch hunt would have been raised when she first made that statement. This is because some DUers feel insulted and think that one of the worst thing that could possibly be written is a negative comment about this website. Well guess what? It isn't. It doesn't compare to a lot of offense stuff that is commonplace around here. What is clear is that malcontents comment made a mark. Perhaps you should reflect on why it bothers you so much rather than lashing out at Tarheel Dem.

Lastly, I continue to find in bad form that people talk about someone rather than to them. This is my definition of making DU suck.
