In the video below, it is important to realize what he is saying, that it took over ten to fifteen years for the real dangers to become obvious.

It is also important to realize that the earlier efforts to do fracking is that back when fracking was vertical fracking, the process was cleaner and safer. But now fracking is usually horizontal, and it is tremendously harmful to the environment including the air people breath and the water used for drinking and irrigating crops.
