I hate gin. Cannot stand the smell the taste. Love tequila though.

And in answer to your question I am reminded of a Jerry Garcia quote i read once that went like this "had Jerry Garcia never smoked dope, what would he have become? "The entire senior class wants to thank Mr Garcia for his work on Carousel"?

So yeah, I know one hell of a ton of musicians. The ones that are pushing it get high. The ones that are playing covers in a dingy club are the ones that don't get high. The guys who never got out of the bar scene. Of musicians I can only think of a couple that did not have a cannabis background who were truly groundbreaking. (Frank Zappa and Bruce Springsteen). The rest, all of them, have or had one.

So yeah, you might be more creative, I would bet on it in fact. it is hard to put you finger on, but you can't get there without it.
