'Good Christian kids,' both of them, enough so that it was their decision, not their parents' decision, to attend BJU.

Now neither of them has any use for that sort of heavy-handed fundamentalism (or even anything approaching it). I suspect their BJU experiences had a lot to do with their transformations.
