35. Waht's interesting is that back then,

the deceased were not hidden away immediately. The body was available for viewing, and obviously for those who could afford it, for photography. They held wakes with the deceased in plain view, and parents seemed ok with holding their deceased children.
Since there were so many illnesses and death was frequent, I guess everone got used to it.
Much different than today, for sure.
