Put it on the roof, put it on a pole if you have to. Or, go to satellite, at least there's still a veneer of competition in that market.
Cable companies suck, whether they're large too-big-to-fail, or fragmented. They still operate like monopolistic greedmongers in either case.

I never had a problem, either. I had great customer service, over the phone and in person.

i would anticipate that if slow cheap internet is a priority-you might miss tw cable

Both are slow, horrible internet services. But monopolies lead to higher prices.
