My doctor is very up on the research on mammograms, and has discussed with me why I'm on the schedule I'm on, which is a number if things that puts me in a high-risk group. If I had fewer of these, I'd be scanned less often. You may be in a risk group that is safer is scanned less often or more often - ask your doctor.
