14. Please don't tell me what to do. Ever!

Whether you realize it or not, we do have some control over more than you think even if it's a little.
The NFL is busy trying to convince mothers that football is safe. The last thing they need is another negative pr problem.
Incognito and his minions present such an image. This is why Goodell can't just slide on this. They have the mothers and a lot of other people who are looking very closely at them.

Then their is Michael Sam. If attitudes towards the LGBT community had not changed so much, he wouldn 't have a chance. Do I want him to make it just because he is gay? No. However, I do want him to be given a fair look. When teams dropped him 100 places after he announced, that had nothing to do with his talent.

Because they were so quick to jump, they give every appearance of being hide-bound GMs who refuse to look ouside the box. Why do you think the Rooney rule is in place? Coaches get hired and rehired no matter what their previous record was. They may not be head coaches, but they will get a job. Af-Am coaches still have a hard time being hired because they still don't have an extensive network. This is 'in-the-box', refuse to look thinking.

And don't give me any arguments about 'distraction.' Two words-Bill Belichek. When Tebow went to the Patriots, you didn't have the media circus that Denver had or that the Jets had. The media can be controlled so there is no circis.

Goodell knows that the NFL is being scrutinized even more because of all these factors. Without this pushback, nothing would change or even be attempted. People have more control than you think.

As far as the locker rooms go, I said I don't expect it to be a monastery. It needs to change some. It's not that hard to just have common decency for people.

I am very serious about telling people me what to do. You can't tell emotion from posts. You think you can.
