15. Separation of church and state

is critical to the survival of this experiment we call the USA. Doesn't matter the flavor of the church. We are governed by the Constitution, not the Bible, or the Book of Mormon, or the Qur'an, Bhagavad Gita or the Dhammapada. The experiment won't work if these other sources are allowed to interfere. Just thinking out loud, I know this is pretty basic stuff on DU.
