But they want corn, so crops have to be protected cheaply using Glyphosate, but the corn suffers too, so they genetically modify it, it still gets sprayed with Glyphosate but it is resistant, so only other plants die. So the Glyphosate is then in the environment and poisons everything. I won't go into how it affects animals, slowly, insidiously over time.
