(30,481 posts)What I have learned most here and in my life about this issue and the inability of some to even address it in a real manner. Women speaking their mind is seen by many men as out of place and bad behavior. Men speaking their mind is strength and confidence. Many men can't even recognize that. To the men who do, I love you.
Hey Pretzel:
If your reproductive rights were being restricted daily...
If you had to have a weapon in your pocket while walking to your car in a dark parking lot and still not feel safe...
If someone purposefully brushed up against your tits in a department store...
If society viewed you as let-than after being sexually violated by someone physically stronger...
If you were leered at and told "bet you are a lot of fun" while walking down the street....
If you were told to shut up and behave in a manner to make others feel more confident just for speaking your mind....
If you were sexually assaulted yet the assailants friends told everyone how the aggressor is normally a good guy....
Would you consider it to be a war?
Would you try to stand up for yourself and others?
