But if you look out your window and you see a whole lot of snow then I guess there's no such thing as global warming. Because it's cold where you are.

But, duh, weather and climate aren't the same thing, stupid person. Weather is what you experience where you are, right now. Climate is the trends and patterns of weather where you are, over time. And it's cold in New York and warm in Alaska because the damn polar vortex is fucked up and pushed south because of global warming. And there's too damn much snow because warmer oceans cause more evaporation which puts more moisture in the air - which causes more precipitation. Specifically, snow, because the polar vortex is making it cold.

But that's science and science is too complicated for the tiny pea-brains of the readers and writers of the New York Fucking Stupid Post.
