I NEVER said women have to "deal with sexism." The issue then comes down to the over-reaching definition that some have of sexism. Am I sexist because I walk down the street and someone I think is great looking catches my eye? Is it wrong if I look at her? I just heard a study last week about the positive impacts on the human brain from looking at a person one deems attractive.

Thus, it is clear much of what many in that thread deemed to be sexist is in fact hard-wired into our DNA. For a PURE scientific standpoint, this EXACT SAME THING can be seen when looking at our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. Their response is that we are more evolved than that and should be able to suppress that. Pointing out that has no basis in fact and, in fact, is ridiculed (rightly show), when some fundy uses the same argument to argue against homosexuality only further proves their point (and yours?)that we support sexism.

Sorry, but I see no basis in scientific fact and people just demanding the world ignore science and abide by their world view. Like I said, I know plenty of people who adopt the mentality on the right and they are ridiculed here. Yet, that same logic is not only being embraced here, it is being used to make terrible accusations against fellow posters.
