it's more a case of some dickheads being offended by the notion that someone might be bothered by the reduction of a human being into an object, and deciding to troll based around this impossibly great offense. As trolling often does, it gets a response.

basically it went like this:

Feminist poster: "The new Swimsuit issue is ridiculously silly and objectifying. look, you can even see the pixels!"

Fuck-Ape*: "HOW DARE YOU?! WHY DO YOU HYSTERICAL HAGS HATE SEX?!?!"

Feminist poster: "What? Wait... no, what? I'm making a point that...

An Askew Tale*: "I'm with Fuck-Ape! You frigid bitches are trying to control us!"

Feminist poster: "No, I'm saying that this heavily-edited cover is another example of our society's treatment of women's bodies as commodities."

ManfredSilverstone*: She got paid for it, right?"

Feminist poster: "Obviously, but that's not..."

ManfredSIlverstone: Then it wasn't commodification. Here, I'm posting a lot of half-naked pictures right now!"

Feminist poster: "That doesn't even make sense!"

Fuck-Ape: "There you go trying to control the discourse. You just hate men! Here's some more nudies, trollolololol!"

Random Poster#1: "I'm totally uninvolved but both sides are equally bad and Feminist poster needs to stop hating sex and realize boys will be boys!"

an Askew Tale: "I agree. OH NOW NOW THEY WILL ALERT ON ME!"

Feminist Poster: "I think this place might have a problem..."

TheWalterMatthaeu*: "OMG Stop whining and being so meta! Can't I read about ducks hugging kittens without all this far-left arguing?!"

Fuck-Ape: That fucking bitch fucking said fuck! Alert! Alert! Alert!"
