(17,821 posts)25. I used to work at a video store, if you remember them.
In Northeast Minneapolis.
Our policy was to provide free rentals to fire departments. Fire fighters from all over the metro area would stop in to pick up VCR tapes. They never abused the privilege, and it fostered great good will.
Plus, when they would roll up in their fire truck and come in wearing fire fighter gear, the little kids in the store would be in awe.
