if you look to history you know civil rights legislation only passed after years of marching,

labor laws were only passed after people died (Haymarket),

you are aware the new deal was only enacted because socialism was gaining support -

the list goes on and on. There is nothing wrong with voting for the most progressive candidate on any given ballot, imo, but that doesn't absolve you from the hard work of advocacy. Voting is the least of our jobs.
