1. Well having local grown veggies is a great idea. However, I find buying some of the produce

still expensive. Now I have 12 acres. The back of land we never use. This family friend of my mother-in-law use to rent the land. I made a deal with him and told him he could use the land and I won't charge anything for the use if he would provide us with some potatoes, tomatoes, corn, fruit. He agreed to the deal. I know at the end of last summer I had a neighbor give me a bushel of tomatoes. I appreciate that. I have pretty good neighbors. The way I see it I'd rather have my neighbors use the land for good use than sitting there doing nothing.
