(15,882 posts)29. I think people discount the effect testosterone can have on the brain.
The effect is noticeable in most people. Off of it Ilose motivation, gain weight, and it negatively sex.
On it I kinda normalize, your motivation and attention span is better, sleep is better, sex is better (some require it, some find that is more of a brain function) and your bones stay healthier.
I heard of another person who would go into a depression. I don't think that happens to me (would you really know?) but there is certainly a positive correlation with more stable moods and regular injections.

I used to be on injectable, then was prescribed Androgel. Used it for a few years,

Androgel is prescription medication. Ageless Male is a sketchy sounding herbal supplement.
