52. We are. We don't go to war at the blink of an eye

we go BEFORE the blink of an eye.

We will take down whoever we decide would be most beneficial to us to take down. War? Not always, but we disturb the peace of every country we decide to involve ourselves in.

We need to stop stirring up the world. We need to stop stirring up ourselves. We need to stop and realize we are MEMBERS of the planet, nobody ever asked us to run the thing alone.

I hate to say this having been raised on all the goodness of this country but it was crap, propaganda of the highest degree all the while selling us the "Better dead than red" BS that was so popular.

I love my country but I hate what it has done to the rest of the world and I am not terribly happy about what it is doing to itself these days either.

There are a lot of countries that are dangerous, this is true, however we are big and wealthy and we spend most of our wealth to stir up shit or bomb up shit elsewhere. How is that ever going to make things turn out well?
