37. I have a niece who is also bi polar and suffers

from anger issues,we have the same close relationship that it sounds like you and your niece have. One thing I've always tried to stress to her is that she's very young (she's 16) and that she is in the beginning stages of a very long life and as time goes by,problems that seem monumental to her now will actually seem inconsequential in the future and to hang on. I understand your broken heart as you sit with her in her hospital room,I've been there. Your niece has an auntie who loves her unconditionally,sometimes that's all you can do.
