Ruthless doesn't even begin to describe it. Mass murdering psychotics on the rampage would barely serve as a description. Nigeria is a total mess. Religious war between north and south, major political corruption, the holy war against LGBTs.

I get most of my news on African events from BBC news. I think their global coverage is much more thorough than anything I can find over here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world/africa/
