Religion is the main reason given for it, but corporations are the enablers who provide groups the platform to spread hate, and then sell weapons, sometimes to both sides of an issue, to any extreme right-left-wing group or government to make kill and make war.

Moderation and peace efforts have somehow become synonomous with cowerdice and lack of judgment.
