and I waited for someone else to put this in context (the OP doesn't seem to want to be bothered). They were talking about Bill Clinton's visit to KY yesterday to campaign for Grimes. When it was pointed out that Grimes didn't seem to want Pres Obama's help, that's when Cokie made her comment.

That said, Cokie is a moron and that has nothing to do with her parents or her upbringing.
