His motives could be that he doesn't' want to admit his DX is wrong, and given the context of the accusations that could mean he was manipulated by the parents. Jumping to the conclusion that we don't know for absolute certain what happened and that this isn't the travesty being portrayed? VS your conclusion that you are certain she was kidnapped by this highly regarded hospital. Right, who's jumping to wild conclusions.
These types of hard to diagnose diseases and disorders are exactly the kinds that lead to these situations. Abusers use them because it's easy to manipulate medical providers. There are other signs to look for also, like the patient acting one way when a parent is present, but another when they aren't, among many others. We just don't know exactly what evidence Boston Children's has.
