3. The Texas Legislature is not in session until 2015

Texas already has a similar but far less restrictive law that only applies to governmental agencies http://www.democraticunderground.com/107815595 Unless Goodhair calls a special session, a bill to amend the current Texas law to include non-governmental entities can not be considered until 2015 because we only let our legislature meet for a limited number of days every two years.

My high school civics teacher was fond of telling me

No true Texan can sleep soundly while the Texas legislature is in session.

That saying is still true
