Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to offer any financial help at this time.

However, appeals on DU are probably not tenable in the long term. As you've noted, contributions are not coming in at a rate that will cover your expenses.

Are there physical assets you can sell at this time to raise additional funds? Is the home you live in a rental, or did your father own it? If there is equity there in the home, that may be the largest asset available to you. But, there may be other assets you can sell to see you through this time period, until your SSDI kicks in, as it probably will after the ALJ hearing.

While you can continue to make appeals on DU, it's likely that the amounts generated from those appeals will continue to diminish. It may be time to take a hard look around you to see if there are other means to generate the cash you need.

Nobody on DU is unsympathetic to your situation, but appeals for contributions here can only do so much.
