164. No, it only been systematically banned from mainstream media.

If you only get your impressions of the world from them it's easy to come to the conclusion that the Left has surrendered. Or if you live in a part of the world where conservatives have a stranglehold on the social fabric of the area it no doubt feels mighty oppressive. But we haven't given up, not by a long shot. It's just that our government once again is openly operating in the interests of the wealthy and the mainstream media is owned by those same interests. The messages and the policies being churned out are filtered.

They fear liberals a great deal and spend an inordinate amount of effort keeping us out of the conversations and decision making. Why? Because they know deep down, if not consciously, that what they are doing is hurting other people and it's simply to support their own selfish interests. They know they are wrong but they are like addicts..., no, they *are* addicts to excesses of wealth and power. They are completely unreasonable about their wants and needs.

My heart still beats, I have not given up. And I know I am not alone. None of us should forget that.
