A primer on the NATO and G8 summits
Dividing the spoils
By Eric Ruder
Issue #82: Features
"Collectively, the NATO and G8 countries command a massive proportion of the worlds economic resources while wielding sufficient military force to simultaneously pursue multiple wars and occupations. As a result, NATO and the G8 together shape the terrain that every person interested in social justice must contend with. Thats because every dollar that they earmark for bank bailouts and bombing runs is a dollar siphoned away from meeting human needs."

Calling it the G7 now because of one member inserting influence in it's own back yard and interests into Crimea, whose people have actually asked for help against a 'leadership' who've stated their language rights, etc. will be curtailed and are in actual fear, while ignoring other members who've invaded and caused horror yet unabashedly attended with no criticism whatsoever during that same time, seems OTT hypocritical, no?
Sorry, I just don't understand the self-entitled double standards.
