24. Here's the only total I could find for US Arrests using different search terms...

(As you probably found there are news articles from different cities mentioning arrests that day so one would have to total those up city by city. This looks like an effort to do that by this Oakland blog. There were continuing protests even after the war started but I don't know if there were arrests at any of them. The Mainstream Media mostly didn't report them. ANSWER/United for Peace & Justice held many Demonstrations for years after the invasion and they were large in DC and CA...but, I don't recall any arrests at those.)
