great deal of "Nothing to see here, move along" type posts. There were also posts that suggested that people should just deal with it, put up with it, on a "don't ruin the fun" type theme.

Frankly, when that Olympic Ring Snowflake stayed in the closet, that, to me, was the highlight of the evening.

Before that, there were a massive crew of RT enthusiasts--even when it was pointed out that RT is Putin News (and the resignation of that anchor who has been on the job for two years makes that pretty clear...in case anyone missed the memo) who excoriated anyone for having the NERVE to point out that anyone working for that outfit--no matter how "adorable" they might seem to be--was working for a despotic dictator with delusions of grandeur.

Now the new theme, I guess, is "Naaaah....no one said that! No one feels that way! NAME NAMES to the Subcommittee On Anti-Putin Activities...or be put on the BLACKLIST!"

It's incredible.
