8. And back when he was going after that Evil Empire, it took courage.

Courage our Corporate Media never had. So people like Bartcop were like finding gold when you thought you were the only one who sensed the evil.

Even ordinary people who were just commenting on the Bush/Cheney criminals were met with death threats and accusations of being traitors or just plain 'haters'. Liberals were under assault, and many were afraid to say anything. So I can imagine what kind of attacks he was receiving.

Sadly liberals are again under assault, this time not just from the right, but people like Bartcop taught ME not to be afraid of speaking out. And I thank him for that. I will never be bullied into silence about what is destroying this country. He was an inspiration to all of us.

He will be missed. But his spirit will live on. The Internet was like the wild west back then and there were very few voices to counter the propaganda, much of it aimed at Liberals. He was one of the few.
