But it's not just her, it's her audience that's stupid, and the audience's familiars and acquaintances. And it's even worse than that. The GOP, it appears, is getting stupider. Even Goppers who used to be not so stupid are getting stupider.
Take, as just one of many examples, Michael Medved. He -- I'm risking an attack here -- was not always stupid. He used to have a sense of humor and an appreciation for what is real and true. Now, in his premature dotage, he joins Palin in the stupid pool, only with less of a fatuous following and smaller breasts.
(And, alas, the same is true of George F. Will.)
