First things first: Republicans in the flyover states will not vote for Piyush Jindal, Nimrata Haley, or anyone else who isn't a Real (read: white and Christian with Anglo-Saxon name) American. Nor will they vote for Ted Cruz because of his Cuban father. They are not nice people over there.
Drop Rand Paul out of the race. Libertarianism won't sell in the big states he needs.
Walker and Christie are known crooks. Unless someone gives their kids a little dog to be named Checkers, crookedness won't sell.
So it is Bush and Perry, either of whom Any Random Democrat can beat.
