As to your reference number 3. If an alien species had the power to snap a jumbo jet out of the air, do you really think they would give a crap about hiding their trail?

3. One of the crazier theories, a UFO being involved, makes zero sense. Let's say we take it that UFOs exist, for the purpose of argument. They would never abduct a jumbo passenger jet, with that many passengers, it would be way too public and make too much of a splash, and be a big news story. Any abduction targets would be random people and small planes and boats that would hardly be noticed by the masses. These small craft disappear all the time, and the explanations are easy to understand, being lost at sea, or sinking, or running into bad weather.
