2. I have total contempt for the recent trend of "news" shows parroting twitter.

Really, if I happen to give a shit what's "trending on twitter", then I'll just fucking go check out twitter. Ditto for actually quoting various random twitter posters.

If I was a news anchor or TV talking head of any kind, I'd be fucking ashamed of acting like some twitter stenography bot. Really? That's what you have to offer your audience? Warmed over bullshit we can all see for ourselves on our phone?
