Many of the Flight 370 families are absolutely convinced their loved ones are alive [View all]

somewhere, under the control of kidnappers who hijacked the plane. No matter what the search off Australia yields, those poor souls will experience torment. If the debris is proved to be part of the plane, it's over and denial becomes impossible. If the debris cannot be located or is not part of the plane their torment will continue with no closure ( I do not believe the passengers are hostages, but that's just me) unless and until the plane parts are located. This is just so tragic.
