6. In the 70s we lived near Bristersbug VA

A tiny stop in the road. My son and his best friend (he was black) were out in the woods headed to a pond they knew.
They were stopped by a klan member and told if they knew what was good for them, leave and never return. It seems the klan had a shindig going on.

Several years later we lived near Siler City NC.
My kids told me the klan was at the edge if school property passing out flyers to students ( white ones) about upcoming meetings.

I've lived in NM where many whites hate Hispanics and Indians. Now in SD where the hate flavor here is the Lakota (of which I have friends).

It never ends it seems. Some people always want to feel superior to other folks. Those same people never take the time to know a person of that race/culture. They just want to hate and their missing out on so much!!!
