(931 posts)I easily cut my consumption of analogs by 25 % once I got on e-cigs. With a bit of will power it was cut further down to 50 %. The goal is to quit, but I'm doing so gradually. Like others have said, it's a good idea to order some different flavours.
I've tried gum and Snus and other stuff in the past, but nothing has been nearly as effective as e-cigs.
To those who say that we don't know about the health effects of e-cigs yet, you are 100 % correct. But ask anyone who has made the switch from analogs to e-cigs if their health has improved. The answer will be a resounding "yes, immensely".
There will always be those who say "why don't you just quit? Are you that addicted?"
Hell yes, I'm addicted. That's why I "don't just quit".
I'm reminded of a guy from my previous gym. He stormed into the locker room and exclaimed: "I smell cigarettes! I smell cigarettes!"
I calmly said: "Well, the window is open". And sure enough, there was a small group of smokers outside...
