My guess that most people here will vote...but we are not enough to make a difference.

The ones that need to vote are the ones who are not political junkies who voted last time for change and the only change they saw was things getting worse...they are the ones that will likely say fuck it, they are all the same.
You will have to convince them that the candidates on their ballot are for change, and mean it, to motivate them to go to the polls...and you will not do it by telling them things are better now when they know full well they are not...trying to bullshit them will not work.

Get the people running for office to come out with positive populous proposals that benefit them and they will go to the polls...but being defensive will make them turn away once again.
