40. I correct myself.....

The author of the article was editorializing when he said;

"Sen. Sanders nailed it. This is a classic case of Republicans trying to blame the victims of their policies. Republicans crashed the economy,"

Don't get me wrong, I think we've been living in a trickle down economy since Reagan and it has failed miserably. Outsourcing our jobs to third world labor markets hurt as well. But the immediate reason for economic failure was the mortgage mess and bank failures. Greenspan poured on the gasoline with low interest rates but Graham-Leach-Bliley deregulation lit the match. Democrats had a hand in the latter move. But, you are correct, it was the author that extrapolated from Bernie's statement and not Bernie himself. I stand corrected.
