4. It takes months for the Court to decide.

Actual decision has to be made after Conference, 'writer' selected, writer has to draft proposed decision, share with other Justices, separate opinions and dissents have to be drafted, and this is the case with all the cases the Court is considering. Most decisions are issued May/June, before Court's 'summer' recess.
