In reply to the discussion: How would you like to grow into a tree after you die? [View all]madokie
(51,076 posts)51. This is the instructions for what to do with my butt when I die
cremate my stinking ass then pick a spot and dig a hole put the ashes in and plant a sycamore tree in the hole and cover it all up. I'll need a place for my spirit to rest in the after life and a sycamore is a fast growing and pretty tree so It'll give me that limb to sit on and rest.
seriously that is my instruction to my family.

Sorry but I don't believe in heaven and hell but I do feel I've lived before and will live again. I had these feelings long before I was old enough to know about the bible and all that. I can remember back to within days of when I was born. Google it and there are others who are like me who can remember all the way back to birth

Wish I'd heard of this earlier. At present, scheduled to go into a columbarium. Yup, communism!

When you see a mighty tree sprout and spread beautiful leaves over a peaceful little plot...

Very good idea. Really good if it could be planted in a national park. nt
