I used to argue about abortion with a particular group of right-wingers that I worked with. I predicted that outlawing or severely restricting abortion would lead to "uterine inspections" and murder trials for women who have had miscarriages. They laughed at me and acted like I was crazy. Told me that could never happen, that I was taking my argument to the extreme....That was about twenty years ago and we're getting ever closer....
