78. I Totally Agree Ed S. - Thanks!

It is Obama's neocon-esque and absurdly dangerous foreign policy, as well as his administration's full attack on whistle blowers who are sharing with the American public the details behind the evil, and likely illegal deeds being perpetrated by his NSA -- an out of control monster spreading misery around the globe with our hard earned tax dollars.

The day he announced, with regard to the crimes committed by Bush and company, "we need to move forward", was the day I knew we were in trouble.

As it goes, I'm gay. I couldn't care less about his opinion on gay marriage. I'm more concerned with the suffering directly attributed to corporate imperialism. Besides, Ms. Obvious notes Obama's brave "evolution" on the matter coincided ever so conveniently with the well established and well published upturn in public support for gay marriage.

I had "hope". That hope has faded, only to be replaced with a new hope. My new hope is that my friends and fellow democrats will move beyond hypocritical blind adoration and demand an itinerary that includes righting the wrongs that have been financed by an asleep-at-the-wheel 99%.
